Last night I dreamt about this little one and those involved with my story surrounding her. Three years ago this precious Baby M came into our home and holds a place in my heart, mind, and our home forever. While I have to work to allow the joy of caring for her to outweigh the immense pain that came with releasing her, I am slowly working towards forgiveness. There was and has been so much grief of loss of numerous relationships related to her departure. Relationships are never simple. They have ripple effects beyond measure. Today, I will mark this day with love for my family, soaking up the sunshine, taking opportunities to look at photos from our time with Baby M, and permission to let the tears flow, if need be. #pikespath #pikesprogress
